The Avon AX7 is an all-terrain tyre for SUVs and off-road vehicles, designed for balanced performance on both roads and unpaved tracks. The all-terrain concept combines on-road characteristics with traction on gravel, forest, and dirt roads. The application profile is aimed at vehicles that regularly encounter gravel, dirt roads, or other loose surfaces in addition to asphalt. Therefore, when choosing, not only the correct size but also the actual use between city traffic, interurban routes, and longer motorway stretches matters. The balanced concept is aimed at drivers who prioritize understandable everyday characteristics over individual extreme values.

It is designed for drivers who regularly use gravel, dirt roads, or light off-road terrain in addition to asphalt. On asphalt, compared to pure road tyres, there may be compromises in noise, precision, or efficiency. On paved roads, with a coarser tread, depending on the version, there may be compromises in noise comfort, steering precision, or energy consumption. Tyre pressure, tread depth, load, and driving style significantly influence real behaviour and should be checked regularly. Even a high-quality tyre cannot overcome the physical limits in standing water, rapidly changing surfaces, or abrupt driving manoeuvres.
