Barum Vanis – An Early Generation of Van Summer Tires

The Barum Vanis is an older summer tire for vans and light commercial vehicles. Its construction considers van loads, mileage, and frequent load changes in summer conditions. The design takes into account frequent load changes, longer downtimes, and repeated use in commercial or private transport. Therefore, when choosing, it's not just about the right size, but also the actual use between city traffic, interurban routes, and longer highway stretches. The balanced concept is aimed at drivers who value comprehensible everyday characteristics more than individual extreme values.

It is only suitable with the correct dimensions, full load capacity approval, and sufficient condition. For snow and ice, approved winter or all-season tires are required. Especially with heavy loads, axle loads, tire pressure, and the permissible load index must be observed, as they directly influence stability, heating, and wear. Tire pressure, tread depth, loading, and driving style significantly influence real-world behavior and should be checked regularly.
