The Barum Vanis 2 is a previous generation summer tyre for vans and light commercial vehicles. Its design takes into account van loads, mileage, and frequent load changes in summer conditions. The design considers frequent load changes, extended downtimes, and recurring use in commercial or private transport. Therefore, when choosing, not only the correct size but also the actual use between city traffic, interurban routes, and longer motorway stretches are important. The balanced concept is aimed at drivers who value predictable everyday characteristics more highly than individual extreme values.

It is suitable for paved roads, provided the dimensions, load capacity, and condition are appropriate. For snow and ice, approved winter or all-season tyres are required. Especially when heavily loaded, axle loads, tyre pressure, and the permissible load index must be observed, as they directly affect stability, heating, and wear.
