The Fulda Kristall Control HP is a previous generation winter tyre for higher-performance passenger cars. Its winter design supports predictable driving in cold, wet, slushy, and snowy conditions. The winter-oriented tuning aims to enable predictable reactions when temperature, precipitation, and road conditions change within a short distance. Therefore, when making a selection, not only the correct size matters but also the actual use between city traffic, country roads, and longer motorway stretches. The balanced concept is aimed at drivers who value understandable everyday characteristics more highly than individual extreme values.

It is suitable for winter city, country, and motorway driving in cold, wet, and snowy conditions. On ice, in deep snow, or where snow chains are mandatory, an adapted speed and additional equipment remain necessary. Before driving to higher regions, it is also recommended to check the weather conditions, local chain requirements, and remaining tread depth. Tyre pressure, tread depth, loading, and driving style significantly influence real behaviour and should be checked regularly. Even a high-quality tyre cannot override the physical limits in standing water, rapidly changing surfaces, or abrupt driving manoeuvres.

A winter-oriented compound, sipes, and grooves support traction and water drainage; characteristics of the HP 2 are not transferred. 3PMSF marking, tread depth, air pressure, and vehicle approval must be checked individually for each version. The 3PMSF marking confirms tested snow suitability, but does not replace an adapted speed or sufficient safety reserves. Which EU label values apply depends on the dimension, load and speed index, and the respective special version. For ordering, therefore, the information in the vehicle registration document, on the sidewall, and in the vehicle manufacturer's approval are decisive.
